Without a mobile link with Aadhaar, you will not be able to open an online account in any bank. Also, you cannot link PAN with Aadhaar online if the mobile number is linked with Aadhaar.
Recently, UIDAI has shared this information from its official Twitter handle that now postmen can come to your home and link mobile number with Aadhaar.
Now you have to update your mobile number in Aadhaar, then you do not need to go to the Aadhaar card centre for that. For this, the postman will now come to your home and update the mobile number in Aadhaar.
Recently, UIDAI has tied up with India Post Payments Bank. Under which now postmen will go door to door to link mobile number with Aadhaar.
Around 1.5 lakh postmen across the country will go door-to-door to update the Aadhaar of the people. According to India Post Payments Bank, Gramin Dak Sevaks will also participate in this work and go to their homes to update the mobile number in Aadhaar.
All these postmen will be given a device. With the help of which they will be able to update the mobile number of Aadhar card holders from door to door. India Post Payments Bank has also given training to many of its postmen for this.
